We got an early start thanks to Ella! She was ready to get out of bed by 7 am.
We visited the visitor center. I picked up the Junior ranger backpack and book and we headed out for a drive and small walk.

Petroglyphs I love how they are on a pile of rocks.
Prickly pear and saguaro
In the afternoon we visited the Pima museum and the aircraft boneyard. Ella talked the entire bus ride. She does not know what "be quite" or "shhh" means yet so it was an enjoyable ride for us. At least she didn't cry.
All of these planes are being converted to drones.
There are so many planes here. Some for storage, some for parts and some they may fly again. Then there are planes that they are decommissioning as part of a treaty following the Cold War. The tour guide says that Russia actually visits once a year.
Ella infront of a Mars lander
Doesn't she look excited?
Ella saw many of the planes from the Cartoon Planes
I love how they included chocolate in their survival kit.
An electric suit!
We landed on the Moon!
